Canada Day Weekend

This summer we spent every spare weekend camping and hiking. For our anniversary, I gave Devin and myself platypus backpacks...you know the kind that have a water bladder in them? It made hiking so much more enjoyable for me. I don't usually like hiking until after its over but this helps a bit. Also, I can carry my own lunch and not feel guilty the entire time because Devin is carrying everything!

The July 1st weekend we went out to Hinton/Jasper KOA campground. It was a beautiful area. I had never camped up that was before. We saw so much wildlife on the road as we drove.

We did a few different hikes in Jasper and really enjoyed ourselves. The lakes and mountains were beautiful. We had a deer walk right in front of us on a trail. We stopped and watched it wander through the woods.
